Terms of service
Last updated: 16 September 2026
1. Who we are
Plana is a service operated from Georgia. You can reach us at hello@planacad.com, and we answer within one business day.
2. Orders and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders.
This means Paddle, not us, is the seller of record for your purchase. Paddle issues your receipt and invoice, collects payment, handles any sales tax or VAT, and answers billing questions. Its buyer terms are at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
3. What the service does
You send us raster floor plans (PNG, JPG or PDF). We convert them into vector CAD files, currently DXF and SVG, with DWG on request, and return them with a check image that shows what was detected. Typical turnaround is 48 hours for a pack; batches are agreed in writing.
4. Prices
During the pilot: the first 3 plans are free, after which plans are $8 each, sold in prepaid packs of 5 ($40) or 10 ($80). Batches of 50 or more are quoted, around $5 per plan. Prices are in US dollars. Any tax due is calculated and added by Paddle at checkout.
5. Your plans and your rights in them
You keep full ownership of the plans you send and of the files we return. You confirm that you have the right to send us each plan and to have it processed. You may not send plans of secure or restricted facilities, or plans you do not own or have permission to use.
We use your plans only to produce your files. We do not use them to train or improve anything unless you separately tell us in writing that we may.
6. What the output is, and is not
Output is generated by an AI system and is not checked by a drafter. Wall corners, door swings and thicknesses may need adjustment in CAD. You are the reviewer of the output before it enters your own drawings.
We do not promise that the output is fit for construction, submission or any regulatory purpose.
7. If a delivered plan has a fault
A plan is faulty when the output cannot serve as a starting point for your drawing: walls missing, invented or misplaced, rooms merged or omitted, or geometry so distorted that fixing it takes longer than redrawing. Cleanup of corners and thicknesses, door swing direction and labels are not faults; section 6 explains why.
Tell us within 14 days of delivery, naming the plan id and what is wrong and where. We then decide whether a re-run is likely to fix it. If it is, we re-run at no charge, up to 3 attempts per plan including the original delivery. If it is not, or the attempts are used up, we refund that plan. That is the only remedy we offer, and the full policy is at planacad.com/refunds.
8. How long we keep your files
We keep your plans and the files we generate for as long as we need them to provide the service: to deliver your order, re-run a plan and settle a refund claim. We delete them once that is no longer necessary, and sooner if you ask. Our privacy notice explains what else we hold and for how long.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with a plan is limited to what you paid for that plan. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, delay, or the cost of redrawing work.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
10. Consumers
If you buy as a consumer rather than for a business, you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days. Paddle handles withdrawal requests as the seller of record. This right sits alongside, not instead of, the re-run or refund remedy above.
11. Changes
We may change these terms for future orders. The version in force when you order is the one that applies to that order.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of Georgia, and the courts of Georgia have jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer rule in your own country says otherwise.
