Plana converts PNG, JPG and PDF floor plans into vector drawings with semantic layers (walls, doors, windows, fixtures and dimensions), ready for AutoCAD, Revit and the rest of the studio.
Pay only for what you convert. Volume discounts apply at 1k plans/mo and above. Enterprise contracts include dedicated throughput, SSO and on-prem deployment.
Pay as you go. No subscription and no seats: just credit when you need it.
Volume tier with full API access, batch endpoints and AIA-layer customisation.
Unlimited volume, dedicated infrastructure, SSO and a named architect on call.
Every plan we vectorize unstacks into six labelled sheets: walls, doors, windows, fixtures, room labels and dimensions, each on its own CAD layer. No polyline soup, no untangling.
Your team picks up exactly the geometry they need. Fix a partition without disturbing the dimension chain. Swap a door swing without re-tracing the wall. Restyle the room labels and leave everything underneath untouched.
Layer codes ship AIA-standard out of the box:
A-WALL, A-DOOR, A-GLAZ, A-FLOR-FIXT,
A-AREA-IDEN, A-ANNO-DIMS. They remap to your studio's
conventions on import.
Upload a single plan or wire the API into your pipeline. Plana handles preprocessing, detection, vectorisation and export, then returns clean files alongside structured JSON for the systems downstream of your CAD.
PNG, JPG, PDF or scanned multi-page sets. Drag in via the studio, or send to the API.
Our segmentation model identifies walls, openings, fixtures and text, then rebuilds clean vector geometry.
Inspect each layer, snap walls to grid, correct any label, all without leaving the browser.
DXF, DWG, SVG, IFC and JSON, with AIA layers and your unit system applied.
Plana retired our digitisation backlog in a fortnight, and our drafters got their evenings back.
Drafters still redraw scanned plans by hand: billable hours spent on lines a model can find in seconds. Plana turns the trace into a translation: the source is preserved, the geometry is rebuilt clean, and every element comes labelled to the layer your CAD expects.
Every export is round-trip safe: open in AutoCAD, edit and re-import, with layers, line weights and annotations all preserved. IFC carries spatial structure for Revit and ArchiCAD; SVG drops into Figma; JSON powers the layer downstream.
Layered drawing exchange format. Lossless geometry, AIA-named layers, mm or imperial units.
Drop straight into AutoCAD, BricsCAD or DraftSight. Open and continue editing without conversion.
Pixel-perfect vectors for marketing sites, virtual tours and Figma. Layers grouped, IDs preserved.
Spatial elements as IFC entities (walls, doors, spaces). Opens in Revit, ArchiCAD, Solibri.
Whether you are digitising an entire MLS, modernising a brownfield retrofit, or letting your users edit their own plans, it is the same engine, shaped to your workflow.
Digitise legacy MLS inventory, generate vector plans for virtual tours, and let listings carry interactive, room-aware layouts your buyers can actually browse.
Convert paper as-builts and retrofit-survey PDFs into Revit-ready geometry. Onboard legacy estate portfolios into BIM without a draughting backlog.
Give your users vector plans they can edit, furnish and stage. Drop the API into your upload flow and replace pixel screenshots with editable rooms.
If something here doesn't address it, our team responds within a day, and an architect-engineer always reviews technical questions.
300 dpi scans are ideal, but Plana handles down to 150 dpi camera photos with reasonable contrast. PDF vectors (text-only) are detected and preserved verbatim; we only run the model on raster regions.
On the Cubicasa 5k benchmark we measure 98.4% F1 for walls, 96.1% for doors, and 95.0% for windows. On in-the-wild MLS plans, expect 2–4% lower. Edge cases (curved walls, hand-sketched plans) fall back to the studio review step.
Yes. Plana ships with AIA defaults but supports BS-1192, ISO 13567 and arbitrary mapping tables. Upload your standard once and every export conforms.
The Atelier tier includes VPC and air-gapped on-prem deployment. Plana ships as a Docker compose bundle with a sealed model weights container, and supports CPU-only inference for regulated environments.
If the source plan contains a scale bar or annotated dimension, Plana calibrates from it. Otherwise you provide a reference length once and every subsequent measurement is computed to mm precision (or imperial, your choice).
Plans are processed in EU- or US-resident regions of your choice, encrypted at rest, and deleted after 30 days unless you opt to retain. Enterprise contracts include zero-retention and customer-managed keys.
Questions about formats, on-prem deployment, or a particular plan you're stuck on? Write the studio: a human reads every message, usually within a working day.
The first 20 plans are on us. No card and no contract: just a PDF and the studio.
